Dee Bradley Baker was born in Indiana but was bought up in Greeley, Colorado. He started performing in musicals, operas, plays and stand ups at the age of nine. After graduating in Philosophy and German language from Colorado College he started working as a stage artist which led him to Los Angeles. He is currently living there with his wife and children.

Once in New York, there was no looking back for Baker. He soon became the one of the most flexible and preferred voice artist in the region. Over the past twenty years he has made a notable career with his ability to extensive verbal scale and ability to easily use any dialect. He has lent his voice in Spongebob Square Pants, Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chickens, Teen Titans, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Space Jam, Happy Feet, The Grim Adventures of Billy And Mandy, Time Squad and Scooby Doo 2 etc. In addition he has also done voice over for video games like Tony Hawk’s Underground, Haunted Mansion, Halo 2, Halo 3, Spiderman 2 and Spiderman 3 etc.

Role In American Dad

In American Dad, he has done the voice over for Klaus, a goldfish who can speak in German. This is due to the failed experiment of CIA, in which they tried to transplant the brain of a German man in a goldfish. Klaus has a crush on Francine and has many secret fancies about her. He jumps at any opportunity to impress her.
