Kiefer Sutherland was born on 21 December in London, England, UK. He is the son of Canadian actors, Donald Sutherland and Shirley Douglas. He is the grandson of Tommy Douglas, a Canadian politician. He has a Scottish ancestry. He has a twin sister named Rachel. As both of them were born in London, UK, they have the citizenship of Britain as well as Canada.

He moved to Corona, California along with his family as a child. His parents separated soon after this, i.e. in 1972. He was left with his mother who moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He joined the Crescent Town Elementary School in East York, Toronto. He changed a number of schools for his high school studies. He was the student of St. Andrews College, Martingrove Collegiate Institute, Harbord Collegiate Institute, Silverthorn Collegiate Institute and Malvern Collegiate Institute. He attended the Regina Mundi Catholic College in London for one semester and took weekend acting classes at Sir Fredrick Banting Secondary School.

His first marriage was with Camelia Kath (1987-1990) and they have a daughter Sarah Jude. He became the stepfather of Michelle Kath when he married Camelia Kath. He was once engaged to Julia Roberts in 1990, but Julia broke the engagement three days before the wedding when she found that he was seeing a stripper named Amanda Rice. He married Kelly Winn in 1996 and they were legally separated in 2008. They were living apart from 1999 onwards. He had two step-sons from the marriage with Kelly Winn.

He was arrested and in 2007 for misdemeanor drunk driving charges, and had faced the same charges earlier in 2004. Kiefer Sutherland was later released on $25000 bail. He pleaded no contest to the DUI charges and was ordered to spend 48 days in the jail.

He has appeared in more than seventy films till now, some of them are- ‘The Lost Boys’, ‘Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me’, ‘A Few Good Men’, ‘Flatliners’, ‘Young Guns’, ‘The Vanishing’, ‘The Three Musketeers’, ‘Stand by Me’, ‘Eye for an Eye’, ‘Dark City’, ‘To End All Wars’ and ‘A Time To Kill’. He has also acted in the TV series ‘24′.

He has directed ‘Last Night’, ‘Truth or Consequences, N. M.’, ‘Woman Wanted’, etc. He appeared in Japanese commercials for Calorie Mate. He lent his voice for the commercials of Ford Motor Company of Canada, for Apple Computer and Bank of America.

He won the Golden Globe Award in 2002 for the Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama for ‘24′ and was nominated for the same in 2003-2007 and in a different category in 2009. He won the Emmy Award in 2006 for the Outstanding Drama Series and for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for ‘24′. He also earned nomination for the same award in different categories in 2002-2005 and in 2007.

He was the winner of the Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2004 & 2006 for the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series for ‘24′. He was also a nominee in different categories of the same award in the years 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2009. Apart from this, he was nominated for various other awards in different categories and he has won many of them.

Leslie Hope was born on 6 May 1965 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She completed her graduation from St. Michael’s University School, Victoria, British Columbia in 1982. She is the daughter of Ann and Frank Hope, and is the sister of Stephen Hope. She is the wife of Adam Kane, who is a cinematographer, producer and director. Her son is named Mackenzie Angell who is fathered by her ex-husband Jamie Angell.

She appeared in a Canadian movie ‘Ups and Downs’ for the first time, in 1981. She then appeared in ‘Paris, France’, an erotic drama directed by Gerald Ciccoritti, in 1993. Sarah Clarke was born on 16 February 1972 in St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A. She is the daughter of Ernest Clarke, an engineer, and Carolyn, a homemaker. She has studied Fine Arts and Italian from the Indiana University. There, she became the member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.

She was inclined towards acting from the days when Sarah was studying at Bolonga, Italy, during her senior year. She retuned to America and continued her studies, as she started learning architectural photography. Sarah had a chance to attend free acting classes at the cultural arts center in return for clicking the photographs of the center.
